We are a beauty start-up founded in 2020 and located in the heart of Berlin. Our team is
made of over 55 brilliant human beings who came from all over the world to actively write
Yepoda’s story.

We are currently looking for a Head of Accounting to join the team. As the Head of
Accounting at Yepoda, you will be a vital part of our financial operations, responsible for
managing and optimizing our accounting processes to ensure the company's financial
health and compliance.

Your tasks

Your Responsibilities

As the Head of Accounting, your responsibilities will include:

Financial Management:
● Oversee the company's financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with
accounting standards and regulations.
● Manage the day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable and
receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
● Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and budgets for management
and external stakeholders.
● Collaborate with external auditors and tax advisors for annual audits and tax filings.

Compliance and Reporting:
● Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax laws, and regulations.
● Prepare and submit regular financial reports to senior management and
stakeholders.
● Coordinate with external parties, such as banks and regulatory authorities, for
financial matters.

Strategic Planning:
● Contribute to the development of financial strategies and long-term financial
planning.
● Provide financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making by
senior management.

Your profile

Your Skillset

● Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
● 5+ years of experience in accounting and finance roles, experience in e-commerce
is a plus
● Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax
regulations. Knowledge of DATEV and German accounting standards is required.
● Proficiency in accounting software and financial analysis tools.
● Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
